Description of this Beer

From Radical Brewing, Randy Moser, a strong Belgain Pale ale.

 

Fermentables

Amount     Type of Fementable (grain, extract, sugar, fruit, etc.)

 

 10.5 Lbs Pilsner Malt

1.75 Lbs Corn Sugar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

Hops

Amount - Type of Hops, %AA, pellet/whole/plug, time in boil/FWH/Dry Hop/Mash Hop

1.25 oz (35g) Northern Brewer (6.5% AA) whole hops added at 60 minutes

1.00 oz (28g) Saaz (3% AA) whole hops added at 30 minutes

1.00 oz (28g) Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA) whole hops added at 30 minutes

1.00 oz (28g) Saaz (3% AA) whole hops added at end of boil

 

Other Ingredients

Yeast

Type of Yeast (e.g. Wyeast 1056, White Labs WLP001)

Amount Pitched

 Beligan Ale

 

 

Directions (include mash temps/times, boil times, fermentation temps/duration, etc.

 Mash in at 122 F for a protien rest, 20 minutes

Step up to 152 F for 1 hour

Mash out at 170 F

Ferment at normal Ale temps 60 to 70 C
