Description of this Beer
Classic Dry Stout - "Better than Guinness" according to Seamus O'Brien of Dublin, Ireland.  He may be biased though, since it's named after him.

 

Fermentables
Amount & Type of Fementable (grain, extract, sugar, fruit, etc.)

13 lbs Maris Otter

2 lbs flaked barley

1.75 lbs black barley (roasted unmalted barley)

Hops
Amount & Type of Hops, %AA, pellet/whole/plug, time in boil/FWH/Dry Hop/Mash Hop
130 g Goldings, 4.1%AA, whole, 60 min

 

Other Ingredients
Amount & Type (herbs, spices, wood, finings, etc.), When/Where Added
 

 

Yeast
Type of Yeast (e.g. Wyeast 1056, White Labs WLP001) Amount Pitched
 WY1084, S-04, or other Irish/English ale yeast
 

 

Directions
Include mash temps/times, boil times, fermentation temps/duration, etc.

Infusion mash at 150F for 60 minutes, 60 minute boil, ferment on the cool end of the recommended fermentation range.

 

This beer should ferment out quickly and can be ready to serve in less than a week.
