Saison

An amber- or copper-colored top-fermented beer from Waloon, Belgium, and France once brewer in the summertime (April through May) from a high-gravity wort and drunk four to six months later, but now it is available year-round. Saison is naturally conditioned in 1-liter and 750-milliliter bottles. It has a fruity flavor and an alcohol content of about 4.5 percent alcohol by weight (5.6 percent by volume).
