Munchner Dunkel Lager

7.5 gallon batch size

90 minute boil

OG = 1.057

FG = 1.014

10 lbs Munich malt

2.0 lbs Munich II Malt

2.0 lbs Vienna Malt

0.25 lbs Carafa II Malt

30 gms Vanguard Hop pellets 5.0% AA 60 minutes

20 gms Liberty Hop pellets 4.7% AA 60 minutes

22 gms Liberty Hop pellets 4.7% AA 15 minutes

Mash in at 122 F and slowly raise mash to 154 F over 75 minutes

Yeast: WLP 838 So. German Lager yeast

Ferment for 14 days at 50 F

Diacetyl Rest at 60 F for 3 days

Condition at 36 F for 3 weeks
