Label Removal

Removing labels from store bought beer bottles is usually a bit time consuming but it doens't need to be hard.   The best way is to completely submerge the bottles in a solution of OxyClean and let sit overnight or even a day or two.  This will leave you with bottles that the lables have fallen off of or that are very easy to peel.  Then just a quick hand wash with a soapy dishcloth will remove any remaining residue.

If the bottles are not clean on the inside, simply put 1/8th tsp OxyClean in each bottle and fill with water, then submerge bottles in the Oxyclean solution.  Let soak a day or two and you will have clean bottles without labels.

Others have had luck soaking the bottles in dish soap, baking soda or even just hot water.  I have found none of these work as easily as the OxyClean.  Best of Luck, Slainte!
