Ku-Baba

Ku-Baba. (koo-ba-buh)

A breweress and tavern-keeper who lived in Sumer in the year 2400 BC. A remarkable woman and successful brewer, she founded the city of Kish (about 20 kilometers northeast of Babylonia), eventually becoming sovereign of that city, and founded the Third Dynasty of Kish.
