Canstatter Wasen

Canstatter Wasen. (kan-shta'-tegh va'-zen)

    An autumn fair held in the riverside district of Cannstatt in Stuttgart (Germany). The fair was started in 1818 by the king of Württemberg originally as an agricultural show but it is now the prime rival of the Oktoberfest.
