(All-Grain)

Ingredients for 5 gallons

8 pounds pale ale malt
4.5 pounds Vienna malt
1 pound dark brown sugar
.5 pound Belgian Special "B" malt
.5 pound CaraPils malt
.5 pound corn sugar
1 ounce Northern Brewer hop pellets, 6.9% AA (45 minutes)
  Belgian ale and Belgian lager yeast (2 types)
.75 cup corn sugar (to prime)

 

Original gravity: 1.092
Final gravity: 1.032
Boiling time: 120 minutes
Primary fermentation: 16 days at 60 ºF in glass
Secondary fermentation:
Age when judged: 10.5 months

 

Notes

Mash grains at 159 ºF for 120 minutes.
