Aleberry

aleberry. (eiyl'-beh-ree)

    An old-fashioned drink popular in England in the 1600s consisting of oatmeal, ale, lemon juice, nutmeg, and sugar served hot with sops of toast. It also was known as alebrue and alemeat.
