Aca
aca. (a'-ka).
A type of maize beer brewed in Peru since at least 200 BC. It was consumed by the common people and the Sapa-Inca; it also was offered to the gods and poured of the graves of the deceased mojicas. The aca of the Sapa-Inca could only be prepared by the Sun Virgins of the palace in Cuzco. See also: Chicha.
